Pool Use and Street Parking

SCO Neighbors:
Please be advised that the PAC Swimming organization has been approved to resume use of the CH2 pool, and intends to resume practice the week of May 11.  PAC is following all CDC and State guidelines for the safe and lawful use of the pool.  We are providing this notice to reduce questions and concerns about the use of the CH2 Pool.  Please note that while both pools remained closed to resident use at this time, discussions and options for opening the pools are currently being considered by SCOCIA and the Pool Committee as additional guidelines for public pool use are provided by CDC and the State of Texas.  An elaborate explanation of discussions and considerations can be found in the SCO meeting minutes, which are posted on the SCO website.
Please be advised that Deed Restrictions related to street parking will begin to be strictly enforced.  Section 13 of the Deed Restrictions states: ” the parking of automobiles or vehicles on road shoulders or on the streets bordering any lot for a period longer than 6 hours is prohibited”.  While there has been some relaxation of this enforcement over the past few weeks due to unintended consequences related to “stay at home” orders, the number of cars parked in the streets is posing a public safety concern in the neighborhood.
