Description of class and pictures:
Spend a fun afternoon with Dallas artist Sharon Zigrossi and Paint a Blooming Hub Cap! Sharon will lead you in a creative painting workshop where you will transform a found hub cap into a unique work of art.All materials provided; one cleaned and primed, ready-to-paint hub cap, acrylic paints, brushes and fun painting tools along with buttons, bling, caps, wood circles, bottle caps and much more for embellishment and adhesives and glossy acrylic spray. No art experience is necessary- we all are creative!Sharon Zigrossi is a recycle artist who takes discarded hub caps and gives them a 2nd life as unique works of art. She loves flowers and finds artistic inspiration from her own garden, at her job at a Dallas landscape company or as a master gardener. Sharon has always found the colors and design of flowers fascinating and loves to deconstruct their structure and recreate their beauty with found objects. What started as simple yard art developed into more elaborate creations for indoor display that are one of a kind and eco-friendly. For over 10 years she has been capturing the essence of flowers in this truly imaginative way.
