Spring Creek Oaks has a great set of 4 soccer fields. The Sunday just before each soccer season (based on Klein Soccer Club's season) we hold a field draft. The team needs to have at least one resident, player or coach, in order to play on the fields. The draft order is based on a percentage of how many players, including the coach live in Spring Creek Oaks. Signs will usually be posted the Tuesday before to the draft, official rosters with addresses need to be dropped off to committee head's house (see SCO directory or signs for location). The field assignments for the draft will be in effect for the rest of the soccer season.
Since many teams like to practice prior to having rosters, we try to use last seasons field assignments the few weeks before the season starts. For the rest of off the season, it is best to call or email the committee head, Geoff Schunicht at 281-379-1562 to reserve a field. Of course fields can be used any other time on a first come first use basis assuming at least one resident is participating. For organized events, summer camps, etc. board approval is required, again contact the committee head to get this started.
There are two main sets of soccer fields at Spring Creek Oaks. The fields by Clubhouse 2 and those over by Bilma off Winding Ridge as seen below. Fields 1 & 2 are used mainly for U7 and younger, while fields 3 & 4 are for U8 and older. Please avoid moving the goals too far from their normal field positions. In the off season the smaller goals will be stored, if you need them, please contact Geoff Schunicht.

There are several local soccer clubs, the closest is Klein Soccer Club. This site has lots of information on local soccer including references to select soccer clubs. See their site for player registration dates and schedules. Houston also has a MLS team, the Houston Dynamo.
